Patient Care
Clinical services are implemented through Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. The Rheumatology Clinic at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital takes a multidisciplinary approach to treating children with all forms of rheumatologic disorders. The Stanford Division of Pediatric Rheumatology sees a broad spectrum of rheumatologic disorders including all forms of juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, juvenile dermatomyositis, scleroderma, and other inflammatory conditions of the musculoskeletal system.
Participation of physical and occupational therapists, social workers, and nurse specialists is included in diagnosis, treatment, education and rehabilitation planning. Members of the pediatric rheumatology team also work closely with other subspecialty services in order to provide patients with the most comprehensive and thorough care possible.
